About Susan Spinasanta

Susan is Brand Ambassador and Content Consultant for, a Remedy Health Media, LLC site. She has been with SpineUniverse since its start in 1999 and privileged to contribute to the site’s success alongside notable spine surgeons and specialists. Prior, Susan was the site’s managing editor and medical writer for over 20 years.

Many of Susan’s projects involve collaborating with medical experts and industry leaders in the spine community. She is a published author, coauthor or silent partner in the development of nearly 1,000 consumer and professional materials.

She continues to work with leading spinal device companies and other industries including pain medicine and endocrinology. Her body of work is a broad mix of media including physician websites, continuing medical education (CME, CE), video presentations, case studies, online consumer and professional resource centers, guidelines for patient care, and physician instructional materials for device use.

Susan is a member of the North American Spine Society (NASS), Endocrine Society, American Medical Writers Association (AMWA) and Association of Health Care Journalists (AHCJ). In addition to online and onsite education opportunities, she attends society meetings for medical professionals to broaden her knowledge of current healthcare standards and advances in patient care.
