Implanted spinal stimulator

Can anyone give me some advice on the spinal implant stimulator? My pain. Management doctor wants to implant one in me and i dont know if they workor how people feel that has had one...

I got hit by another driver who ran a red light in 2014. Immediately I heard and felt a pop in my lower lumbar with accompanying on and off leg weakness and my right leg would just go " dead" fast forward to September 2017. After failed PT, 21 failed different injections in the last year in a half, 2 failed RFA's, multiple Drs all saying that I need to have a spinal fusion ( but the surgeons I was sent to all said I was to young. I know people younger than myself who have been fused! I am 38) in January 2017 I did the trial SCS DR put it on a major nerve and had remove it the next day, tried again in February with 25℅ pain relief. Dr lied on my paperwork and wrote 80%
