Anterior/Posterior C6/7

Hello, I'm new here. I'm 34, I broke my C6/7 in a car accident and underwent an Anterior/Posterior surgery (with no bone graft- my break was too severe) and I spent 8 days in the hospital. A month later I ended up with an infection and spinal fluid leak landing me; another 11 days in the hospital, my front incision reopened, a lumbar drain and a partridge in a pear tree.

I'm here to; share my story and seek any guidance in healing from both surgeries (not to mention I wasn't done healing when they reopened my front incision for the leak- which set me back big time), long term expectations, permanent lifestyle changes, sleep techniques, gadgets that will make life easier etc. Any advice is much appreciated.

P.S. For those who are wondering I was not paralyzed and I am 100% mobile. A few things I deal with is, I have no feeling in 3 of my fingers on my right hand, pain in my neck daily from minor things like reading book and back pain daily from the lumbar drain.
